Work Starts Tomorrow
Work starts bright and early tomorrow morning! I have to be on the ward at 0700hrs for the first day of my two orientation shifts. I better learn fast! I am going to get the the great adventure of doing my first night shifts this weekend as well. For all of you who know me, I don't do night shifts. You can pray me through these. One of the nurses said, it's really not bad, the unit is really quiet. that won't help me, when it is quiet, I want to sleep! Yikes.
I am headed to take a two minute shower now, but I will write more later.

Yippy Skippy Laura Better get all the sleep you can now. Love you and will be praying for your strength and all. Aunt Joy
Laura, try some easy listening music, some Frank Sinatra, or Bing Crosby at night, the hours will just melt away! You will do great- this is what you do.
The Pecks.............
Just wanted to let you know the ice cream place is open. It seems we have been going every day.
Jeremiah also gets to preach next week, I'll try to send you the copy.
Enjoy your nightshifts....

Laura Beth, Wow, what adventures lie ahead of you! Welcome each day and the challenges that come your way. God is watching over you.
Love Krackle
Laura, Just think of it this way, you will have already put in night shifts early in the week, after all when you go to work at 0700 in Monrovia, your body is still at the time zone where that time is 0100. (or it was in that time zone until 66 hours ago.) Its great to read you are just getting right to it! David A just phoned, he watched over your flight from Chicago to Brussels, and was telling me it was pretty full to get you into a different seat, (210 passengers) but was so glad to hear God put you in just the right seat to meet the nurse from Minnesota!
You know it was snowing last Wednesday here, today it was near 80* - must be so that we can empathize with your 96*
Gppd evening Laura Bunny
Been thinking of you everytime I woke up last night and thru the day which it is still daytime here. I can just picture you on board and exploring and meeting your roommates and work areas.
Are most of your patients going to be adults?
Can wait to hear about your day.
