Pray for Health

Hello! I ask quickly this day that you pray for my health. Three of my buddies have massive colds and sore throats. I am doing whatever I can to stay healthy, but this morning when I woke up I was sneezing lots and I feel like a touch of a cold is coming on. Please pray that the touch of the illness I feel would be taken away by the touch of Jesus, so that I might have strength and health to touch my patients with the love of God. I am going to rest now before I have my evening shift. I work an evening shift on Thursday as well. Friday I have off, then Saturday and Sunday are my first night shifts. Pray for my strength to do the night shifts and pray for my emotional health as working shifts opposite the world is not easy. Your sleeping, eating, and entire life get off. Love all of you!

From 3 John:
"1The elder (Mom),
To my dear friend Gaius, (dear daughter Laura,) whom I love in the truth.

2Dear friend,(Laura) I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3It gave me great joy to have some brothers (your blog) come and tell about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."

So good to hear your voice again in the phone call. May God protect you from more serious effects of the bug you have been exposed to, and keep you healthy to perform your tasks, and your heart from the discouragement that accompanies not feeling well physically.

Love, Mom

Hi Laura- Sitting at the pc in the library saying a prayer for you and your peeps. May you be well and have strength. Drink lots of fluids...geez do I have to tell you ah...you're a nurse. I pray you will do well on the night shifts as well. Those are tough I worked them for a few years when I was younger and was a nurse aide. Did you know I did that?? Anyway, praying for you and thinking of you often. Aunt Marilyn says hi...she has had a tough time lately. Today Hanna is taking her to the eye doctor as she has that big floater again. Aunt Liz says hi...I copied and mailed her the blogs ...its gives her something to do and think about and share with others beside the same old daily rountine at the senior center where she lives. She's happy to be able to tell your goofy Aunt Gert your latest. Makes her feel good. She has your picture next to her chair in the living room.
Well bunny head rest when you can and God bless your week.
Love, Aunt Joy

Laura, you are in christ, he is in you... to do such great things at such an age (26), that sometimes takes one a lifetime to do, has to be with the grace of god. I pray, we all pray, each day and each moment that any illness (an obstacle one might say), is lifted from you and/or teaching you that god is there and you are doing his work... and by letting us know by this blog can only be by his touch... Laura, you are doing great things, pray that each of us, know God with such glory...!
AMEN...
